Every session is different.

You bring a different week into the room each time. The paper responds to that. The water does too.

In June, we paint summer flowers. The full light of a Finnish midsummer. Colours that don’t apologise for themselves.

We’ll begin with stillness, as always. We’ll work with wet-on-wet techniques, building in layers — like the peonies, but looser. And we’ll paint three times, each one a little more confident than the last.
